Patrick Gichia Njau is currently serving as an Assistant Director in the Staffing Directorate at the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) headquarters. He started his career in 1993 as a teacher under TSC and has held various positions, including Deputy Head and Head of Institution, before joining the TSC Secretariat in 2019 as a Sub County Director. Mr. Gichia holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), both in Special Needs Education from Kenyatta University. Additionally, he has earned a Diploma in Education and a Diploma in Educational Administration from the Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI)​
